An extensive range of options are available for incorporation on, around, and under buried concrete structures; including covered reservoir roof and wall drainage, potable water storage, ground water drainage and flotation protection to water storage and treatment tanks.
On flood protection schemes the challenge is often to maintain grass coverage onto embankments and spillways during over-topping and rising flood water levels, where grass reinforcement provides good protection against washout and soil erosion / scouring processes. Reinforcement of reservoir and flood embankments and the construction of retaining
walls is also achievable through utilising a range of geogrids, geocells and geotextile materials.
